Trendlife forecasts the lifecycle of any topic using 5 years of Google Trends data, Prophet time-series modeling, and AI-generated analyst reports.
What it does
From viral moments to slow cultural shifts — Trendlife gives you the data and the forecast to act before the curve turns.
Prophet-powered time-series models trained on 5 years of weekly Google Trends data, forecasting 12 months ahead with confidence intervals.
Every topic gets a predicted death date — the moment interest drops below the threshold of cultural relevance, with days remaining.
See how fast a trend is accelerating or decelerating week-over-week. Catch the inflection point before it's obvious.
On-demand AI reports written in plain prose — explaining what's happening, why, and what to expect next, based on real metrics.
Compare two topics head-to-head: overlaid charts, matched metrics, and a comparative AI report covering which has the longer runway.
Each trend is automatically classified into its current phase — Rising, Peaking, Declining, or Dead — with color-coded visual indicators.
How it works
Type any keyword — a product, a person, a movement, a meme. Trendlife fetches 5 years of weekly Google Trends data instantly.
A Prophet time-series model fits to the historical data and projects 12 months into the future, including confidence bands.
See phase classification, death date, momentum, volatility, velocity charts, and an optional AI analyst report — all in one view.
The story
Trendlife was conceived and built during Kent Hack Enough at Kent State University — one of the Midwest's largest collegiate hackathons.
The idea was simple: everyone talks about what's trending, but nobody tells you when it's over. Trendlife fills that gap with machine learning, real-time data, and AI-powered analysis.
Developed entirely by Dovlet Gurbanov, from data pipeline to UI, in a single hackathon sprint.
Analyze any trend in seconds. See its death date, its phase, its velocity — and get an AI report that tells you exactly what it means.
